Pastoral Vacancy Announcement
Shady Grove Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA, which was established in 1867, is prayerfully
seeking a full-time pastor to serve as our spiritual leader, who is an ordained licensed minister
called by God. (1 Timothy 3:1-7). This pastor would be responsible for leading lost souls to
Christ, delivering sermons that are both biblically sound and well prepared that are applicable to
nowadays life situations. Additionally, this pastor must possess and exhibit strong administrative
and leadership skills, willingness to fellowship with other churches in the conununity, and the
ability to council and advise individuals from children to seniors.

• Current Resume, which includes a summary of relevant ministries, employment histo1y, and
professional and educational experiences.
• Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (one form a clergy, one from a personal (non-relative)
acquaintance, and one from a professional.
