Prayers are that all is well with you and your families.We are going on faith as we plan for the 150th Annual Session of our Convention, we will convene at the Macon Marriott CentrePlex, Macon, GA, November 9 - 12, 2020. Please note the Annual Session programming has been modified this year. The Executive Committee will meet on Monday, November 9, 2020. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020. The Moderators/Pastors, Women, Laymen and Young People Directors will be in session on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Christian Leadership Institute educational classes will be conducted Online (dates and times will be communicated).The Executive Board Meeting will be held Tuesday, November 10th, 2:00 p.m.I am grateful and humbled by your cooperation and support of me as President of our great Convention. As we strive to remain debt-free, I would like to thank you for your contributions, especially the Monthly Contributors during this time of uncertainty.We encourage each Pastor, Woman, Layman and member of the convention to come to the Session prepared to celebrate our 150th Anniversary. We are asking everyone to do the best you can financially to help our Convention. We will “not” have the Nehemiah or Macedonia March this year, due to physical meetings and programs being suspended due to the pandemic.We will adhere to the guidelines of the CDC and the facility where we are meeting, Social Distancing will apply, and everyone is strongly encouraged to wear masks during all sessions.Attachments: Week-At-A- Glance, Church Registration Form, Election Commission Documents and Hotel Listings. Online Registration portal will open August 3, 2020. Pre-registration deadline: Completed Church Registration Forms must be received by Baptist Headquarters no later than Friday, October 30th (latest postmark must reflect October, 30th). The online registration will end on October 16, 2020.We thank the willingness of the 6th District to host the Annual Session however, once again due to this unprecedented time, they will not be asked to take on this responsibility.Prayerfully, the curve will be flatten and we will be able to meet in November, as we look forward to a week of dynamic preaching, teaching, worship, fellowship and praise.
